ニューヨークのマンタハッタン・ソーホーのグリーンストリートのセレクトショップ『Blue in Green』。2020年より同店のバイヤーを務める濱野直城氏が、《orslow》や《KAPITAL》といった日本の高いクオリティの物作りや、内側に宿る背景をパッケージしたセレクトに、目の肥えたニューヨーカーたちも一目置く、ソーホーの名店のひとつです。そんな『Blue in Green』と、IMA:ZINEの友好関係から生まれたコラボレーションプロジェクトの、 昨年に続く第二弾。今回は、カットソーのスペシャリスト《alvana》が監修するIMA:ZINE ORIGINALのMASSIVE ZIP UP PARKAをキャンバスに、サイレントにIMA:ZINEロゴを刺繍。さらに右袖には、グラフィックアーティストEsqueが描いたIMA:ZINEスターワッペンを施しました。生地は、現存する古い織機を用い、表面はソリッドな艶感と美しい印象のヘヴィーオンスに織り上げ、肌にあたる部分は滑らかで風合いある裏毛仕様に。アメリカ物のヘヴィオンスならではのカジュアル感を残しながらも独特の高級感を与えるバランスに設計。全体的に丸みを持たせることで、着るひとを選ばないゆったりとしたシルエットに。また、国内では珍しいIDEALのシルバーニッケル色のダブルジップを使用するなど、ミニマルながらも随所にこだわりを注入しています。スタイルのベースとして、またメインとして長く愛用いただけるジップアップパーカーです。

This is a collaboration between IMA:ZINE and Blue in Green. The IMA:ZINE logo is hand-embroidered with black thread above the kangaroo pocket on each piece. The IMA:ZINE logo patch, designed by esqwe, is on the right sleeve. Using an old loom, the surface is woven with a heavy-ounce material for a solid luster and beautiful finish, while the area that comes in contact with the skin is made of smooth, textured fleece. It maintains a casual feel while exuding a unique sense of luxury. The overall rounded shape creates a relaxed silhouette that suits anyone. The piece also features an IDEAL silver-nickel double zipper, a rare find in Japan, showcasing the minimalist design with attention to detail throughout.
